Unsurprisingly, dear 3nglish readers, we have a winner this year.
Never before though has the vote been so overwhelming.
Kudos to unkle for beating the odds with over half the votes!
Let’s all give him a hand and welcome him to his 2nd victory of bastard of the year.
Even vidar would be impressed, we reckon. Unkle is now tied with Vidar as the most prolific bastard of the year.

Year in and year out we’ve held this competition and it’s always been a close call.
Once voting started this year it was almost instantaneously clear who’d win.
Unkle was the favorite due to his incessant swearing and lobbying on his behalf.

Clearly his threats to come visit us personally were also a big factor.
Until the next year he can officially call himself Bastard of the Year!
Next year’s competition will be a lot tougher, with [dille] swearing revenge and adalia promising a victorious return.
Though for the next 12 months we can be sure that when unkle’s around we’ll be in for a treat.

Douwe Egberts, the maker of fine coffee that is sold all over Europe has released a new promotional mug in The Netherlands which finally confirms what I’ve been saying for years: milk in your coffee is pretty gay.

I found an add on Facebook which will keep Nismo (Unkle) happy – it’s an add which actually thinks we WANT to iron for hours without interruption.
Oh those crazy Dutch, what will they think of next?  Maybe an iron which plugs straight into the water supply so that you can extend your ironing fantasies even further!
