The moon is having a wank

The Mighty Boosh remains one of the best series to have seen air time on British TV, with some lauding it as the ‘new Monty Python’.

The Mighty Boosh was piloted on 20th of may 2003 and represents a journey into time and space, visiting a magical world where nothing is as it seems and everything is stranger than the mind can comprehend (unless of course you’re one of the creators). Since then it has spanned 3 series over as many years. The stars of the show Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt play a convincing double act, bringing the strangest characters to the screen since the Python series and the Goodies saw the light of day in the 70s and 80s.

Howard Moon and his companion Vince Noir explore (amongst other things) the world of shamanism, sexual desires, eels and boxing. Notable characters which have nestled themselves into the collective conciousness include Naboo the shaman and his ape companion Bollo, Old Greg the manfish and the moon.
