Dane Cook is fast turning into one of the most popular stand-up comedians of our time. His infectious portrayals of every day situations and skewed world view make for a very entertaining show every time. He’s done loads of shows, movies and in his own special on HBO.

Disgust, hate, unbelief, morbid fascination, sarcasm, irony, despair for the human condition. These are some of the words I can use to describe emotions that some of the links that have appeared on #English have given me. Unfortunately our brains are not equipped with a ‘Delete button’, or I’d be a whole lot less sarcastic than I am today, I suspect.

Over the many many years I’ve been on IRC I have stumbled upon or have been shown so many disgusting sites and images it has numbed my brain into a sort of sarcastic sludge. From self mutilation to sexual acts of such deviance they will make your mind cringe and haunt your dreams for years afterwards. That is why I’m writing this article. I am determined to lay out what you can expect when you click on certain links which you will be spammed while on MSN, IRC, Skype or any real time chatting program.

The people that spam the links are often so shocked by their contents they will invariably share it with you out of either hateful glee in knowing they’re not alone in their experiencing of the perversion or out of total disbelief in seeing what is actually on their screen and invading their mind. Do not blame them for what you are experiencing. They, as much as you, aren’t themselves when confronted with the filth that lines our world wide web’s fringes. As an experienced IRCer I have seen and will lead you through a small part of this warren of depravity and human sin.

Rule 34 of the internet states that “There is porn of it, no exceptions”. While the meaning might not always hold true in the strictest sense, it is a generally accepted truth of the internet that pornography in all forms is freely available to those who can find it. If there is a sexual deviance out there you’ve thought up, chances are someone’s already tried it and written about it. That said, many links persist throughout the internet which are staple examples of what the human race is capable of if horny.

Goatse.cx - A site closed down a while ago featuring some guy opening his asshole up with both hands. Mirrors of the site are still available. One example can be found at http://goatse.cz.

Lemonparty.org - Featuring geriatric homosexuals engaged in fellatio with each other.

Smegma.ca - This site shows love for smegma, a penile discharge of lubricant from under the foreskin of uncircumcised individuals.

2girls1cup.com - A lesbian love story featuring two scat eating whores.

rotten.com - A site dedicated to anything related to the human condition of kicking the bucket. Not too bad if you can handle brains on pavements and such.

My advice here is: if you ever see references to these sites on IRC, MSN, Skype, AIM, ICQ, whatever… AVOID CLICKING ON THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE.

This documentary explores the taboo men have with talking about their wedding tackle, meat and two veg, one eyed trouser snake, John Thomas or kurac. It also explores the way the perspective of size influences the insecurity of many men and how far men are willing to go to live up to the ideal of the perfect penis. All in all a good laugh to watch and who knows.. you might learn something.
